Car lights are tools for vehicle lighting. ①Modified PC material: mainly used in the lens and external light distribution mirror of headlights and fog lamps.
②Modified PP material: It is mainly used in the rear cover, trim panel and wire harness guide groove (PP-T20) of rear lights, shell and rear cover of front lights.
③Modified PBT/PET material: PBT is generally used in car lights in the trim ring of the headlight and the bracket in the adjustment device. PBT and ASA modified and then glass fiber reinforced can be used to make the shell of fog lamps.
④ Modified PA material: The PA used in the lamp is generally glass fiber reinforced nylon, and the ordinary screw adjustment or bracket in the lamp uses PA6 + GF or PA66 + GF. Some important adjustment structures and internal brackets in the lights will also use some PA and glass fiber modified materials.
⑤PMMA: Mainly used as optically transparent products, it is the light guide material for the exterior light distribution mirrors of the rear lights and the interior atmosphere lights of the car.
⑥ABS, PC/ABS: generally used for rear lamp housing and trim panel.
The amount of modified plastics used in automobiles can reduce the cost and weight of the entire vehicle, and achieve energy-saving effects. With the steady growth of the automobile market and the gradual increase in the proportion of modified plastics in the whole vehicle, the modified plastics market for automobiles will have a large room for growth.
